‘Outro Sul’ is the new album of Nossa Alma Canta and the third album for the group.
Nossa Alma Canta’s sound redefines modern bossa nova and with the added touches of electronic, jazz and acoustic aspects it brings a unique feel to a traditional genre. They show new ways to blendgrooves, loops, samples and instruments together into one keeping its natural flow.

You can hear the sophisticate influences are still present and it’s easy to understand the writers have been classically trained as they were, by some of the great jazz players of North America. Being just as important that their inspiration comes from legendary Brazilian artists like Antonio Carlos Jobim.
This album is definitely a step forward for the group since the release of ‘Estrela’. Their music is more mature, elegant and shows more depth which has arisen from their continual travelling, background, musical influences and from their on-going experimenting.
